COVID has affected life of all of us in many different terms in many different ways. It has definitely affected adversely to all of us, the only difference may on the degree of affection. Even though, I do believe that we have learnt a lot from such adverse situation. Yes, we learnt to live and to remain alive in the toughest situation and adverse condition. The show must go on, and here, life is the show.
I am a Banker and my duty demands seating of minimum 10 hours a day. Since 2018, I had trouble on by lower back but I was ignoring the same. In Jan 2020, I had a minor accident and the trouble on my back got triggered again. As usual, I ignored and tried to fix the issue with home remedies.
March 2020, lock down was announced. The world was stuck behind doors except essential services which also includes Banking (however, it is unsung). Seating hours again increased due to a smaller number of staff at office. Alternate day work from home with inappropriate posture triggered the back pain significantly and this time I had to consult doctor. MRIs, X-rays etc. concluded with L4-L5 slip disc issue and doctor suggested daily physiotherapy.
July 2020, daily physiotherapy in such a peak of pandemic was not at all advisable especially when you have a 2 years kid at home. As stated earlier, life must go on.
I got contact number of Dr. Sheetal Adhalakha, MPT. We had a detailed discussion on my issue through the “treatment tool”. I shared all the reports and it was decided to start therapy on daily basis for half an hour. The question was how and answer was the “treatment tool” i.e. Video Calling. Surprise? Yes, physiotherapy on video call.
We started session and I got significant recovery. Within 3 months pain was almost gone, I was gradually elevating to higher level of exercises and within 6 months of time I was at 7th level. We reduced frequency of therapy to alternate day, by weekly and gradually to weekly. Believe me or not, I met Dr. Sheetal in person in Oct 2021 that is after almost 14 months from starting therapy and that is my only visit to her clinic during the treatment. In fact, in person visit was not all felt required at all as the online therapy was going very well. Once I consulted the doctor who initially suggested me for physiotherapy and he appreciated my recovery.
Thanks to Dr. Sheetal and her knowledge, experience, understanding, friendly behavior, support, consultation and most importantly motivating words that today I am completely OK. The L4-L5 issue is gone, however, I need to be cautious and I should continue exercises hence still consulting Dr. Sheetal frequently.
The online treatment rendered my Dr. Sheetal has benefited me in:
• Recovering from slip disc issue
• Availing treatment on time even during lockdown
• Protecting me from risk of getting COVID infected while travelling/ visiting clinic
• Saving my travel time what I could enjoyed with my family
• Most importantly,
Recovering conveniently,
and getting a doctor most friendly.
All the very best Dr. Sheetal.

** ********* ** *** **** ***** **** ***** **** ******** ** ** ** ***** After grapling with severe back pain issues post my c section for more than year, I met Dr Sheetal who changed my ever dubious stand on online consultation. With location restraints I could mostly consult with her online, and I am extremely happy I chose to do that . Her approach was to educate me on my concerns with utmost empathy and showcasing the benefits of a healthy lifestyle and exercise. I have in my experience in 5 months association with her have discovered not only a new and healthy me , but also learnt to respect my back and understand the symptoms and act accordingly. There has never been a session where Dr adhalakha hasnot taught me something new, wether it be importance of right posture, a new exercise or just a little dose of confidence in self. I always look forward to her sessions and been able to do a lot of things with my back issues ( which is none now ) which seemed a distant dream a few months ago . She is more of a coach and mentor to me now, and I highly recommend her for everything she does.

** ** * **** ****** *** ******* *** ********* ** ********* I visited my wife's neck problem and we were satisfied with the doctor's treatment. There was not much waiting time for the doctor. When it comes to improvement, the treatment charges were too high. I would like to recommend this doctor to others and I would like to give a rating of 5/5.
